Two industrial divers die, third vital in Busan, South Korea

Two divers have died and a 3rd is in vital situation after they concurrently misplaced consciousness whereas cleansing barnacles from a ship moored in Busan New Port in Changwon, South Korea.

In response to the South Korean Coast Guard, the three divers have been pulled from the water by emergency response groups at round 11.45 am on Sunday, 20 July.

The three males, all South Korean nationals of their 30s, obtained CPR on website earlier than being transferred to a close-by hospital. Two of the lads have been subsequently pronounced useless by medics whereas the third stays in intensive care.

In response to the Coast Guard, the divers, who labored for a specialist ship-cleaning firm, have been deployed at 8.12 am to take away barnacles from the strict of a 50,000-ton container ship moored within the port.
