The DAN internship program was began in 1999 to present certified candidates useful expertise in dive security analysis. Samantha Nosalek is a sophomore on the College of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a level in biomedical engineering by the Lampe Joint Division of Biomedical Engineering. She is a NAUI divemaster with certifications in superior nitrox and decompression procedures, and he or she volunteers with SEAKERS, a nonprofit scuba group primarily based in her hometown of Harmony, North Carolina.
