ILOILO CITY — Senior Municipal Councilor Nestor Francisco Inocencio was formally sworn in on Monday as the brand new vice mayor of Ibajay city in Aklan province, changing slain Vice Mayor Julio Estolloso.
The oath-taking, administered by Ibajay Mayor Jose Miguel Miraflores on the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) session corridor, got here days after the deadly taking pictures of Estolloso by Municipal Councilor Mihrel Senatin on Friday, whereas each had been contained in the vice mayor’s workplace on the SB constructing.

The succession of Inocencio as vice mayor is predicated on Part 44, Chapter II of the Native Authorities Code of 1991 (RA 7160).
